Electrical License Continuing Education Class

The North Texas Electrical Training Center is now taking registrations for an Electrical License Continuing Education Class which is required by the State of Texas to renew your Electrical License.

Attendance will be by pre-registration only and will be taken on a first come, first served basis. No "walk-ins" will be able to attend class. Absolutely no admittance after designated start time. Do not be late!! A picture ID IS REQUIRED to attend class.

The 2008 National Electrical Code Book will be used for this class. It is suggested that you bring your code book, paper, and pencil to this class, although no books are required. Code Books are available at the North Texas Electrical Training Center.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Effective September 1, 2010 Texas State Legislature is requiring ALL electricians to take the 4 hour Continuing Education Course. (excluding registered apprentices) The Continuing Education Course must contain NEC 2008, Laws & Regulations, and Safety. If your license expires after September 1, 2010, make sure that the course you take covers this legislative requirement.

POLICIES

Attendance Policy A person must attend the entire four (4) hours of the Continuing Education Class in order to get credit. If a person is late, or has to leave early, no credit will be given and you will be counted absent. If you are absent for any reason you must register and pay for another class.
Reschedule Policy You must notify the Electrical Training Center at least two days prior to class if you need to reschedule, otherwise you will be required to schedule and pay for another class. A $10.00 rescheduling fee will be charged.
Refund Policy To receive a refund you must notify the Electrical Training Center at least two days prior to class if you cannot attend, otherwise no refund will be given. A $10.00 cancellation fee will be charged.
Inclement Weather In case of inclement weather, the class will be rescheduled to a later date, or a refund may be given. Call 972-266-8383 Ext. 102 to confirm cancellation.
Insufficient Enrollment There must be a minimum of 20 persons registered to have a class. In case of insufficient enrollment, the class will be cancelled, with a full refund given.
